Metro: Major Road Closures for Bridge to Brisbane 2026 Event

TMR advises the 2026 Bridge to Brisbane will be held on Sunday 13 September from 2:00 am to 12:30 pm.  

Major road closures and traffic changes will affect parts of Brisbane throughout the event, with traffic management coordinated by the Queensland Police Service and event traffic management providers.

Roads will progressively reopen as the event moves through Brisbane; however, delays and disruptions should be expected across the affected network.

Heavy vehicle operators and other road users travelling through Brisbane during this period are encouraged to review the planned closures in advance and factor potential delays or alternative routes into journey planning.
