The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will undertake road resealing works at several locations across the Wide Bay Burnett district from late November 2026.
Works will be carried out on sections of the following roads within the Bundaberg Regional Council area:
- Isis Highway (Bundaberg – Childers)
- Bundaberg – Gin Gin Road
- Bundaberg – Miriam Vale Road
- Booyal – Dallarnil Road
- Kalpowar Road
The works will involve resealing aged road surfaces to provide a new bitumen surface and preserve the underlying road structure by re-waterproofing the surface.
Works are scheduled to commence from late November 2026 and continue through to late April 2027, weather and other conditions permitting.
Road users travelling through the affected areas should allow for changed traffic conditions and follow on-road signage and traffic control in place during the works.
