NSW: Changed conditions on Moss Vale Rd at Cambewarra Mountain and Barrengarry

Cambewarra Mountain closure

Moss Vale Road will be closed between Barfield Road and Kangaroo Valley Road at Cambewarra Mountain from 8pm Sunday 9 August to 4am Monday 10 August 2026.

Vehicles longer than 7.5 metres or heavier than 12 tonnes will be detoured via the Illawarra Highway and Princes Highway, adding 90 minutes of extra travel time. Please note Macquarie Pass is only suitable for general access and PBS Level 1 vehicles.

All other general access vehicles will be detoured via Kangaroo Valley Road, adding around 15 minutes to travel times.

Barrengarry Mountain closure

Moss Vale Road will be closed between Bunkers Hill Road and Myra Vale Road at Barrengarry from 8pm Sunday 16 August to 4am Monday 17 August.

Motorists will be detoured via the Illawarra Highway and Princes Highway, adding 90 minutes of extra travel time. Please note Macquarie Pass is only suitable for general access and PBS Level 1 vehicles.
