From Monday 16 March to Wednesday 1 April.
Northbound traffic will be diverted onto southbound lanes under contraflow traffic arrangements 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until work is complete.
A reduced speed limit of 80 km/h will be in place and road users should allow up to 20 minutes’ additional travel time. Weekend travel times may vary, however motorists should expect delays and allow up to 30 minutes’ additional travel time.
OSOM vehicles wider than 4.5m will need to use the designated pullover areas in both directions on approach to Marulan and call UHF channel 24 to arrange access through the work area.
The northbound Heavy Vehicle Safety Station will be closed for the duration of the work.
Access to BP services in both directions at Marulan will be unaffected by this work.

Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1,2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route. OSOM vehicles operating under the National Class 1 Load Carrying Vehicles Mass and/or Dimension Exemption Notices can use the available detours if they are suitable for their combination. Operators are reminded that under Schedule 8 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation (NSW), there is a requirement for the driver and operator to scope the proposed route prior to travel to ensure it is suitable for their vehicle.
Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
