Road Conditions (14 October, 2026)

Source: TfNSW

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Hume Highway near Menangle for essential resurfacing work.

When

  •  From Sunday 8 November to Thursday 12 November.

What the expect

The northbound lanes of the Hume Highway will be diverted onto the southbound lanes under contraflow traffic arrangements between 8pm and 4am each night.

Vehicles between 4.5 metres and 5.5 metres wide will be required to park up in a designated pull over bay.

Drivers will need to contact traffic control using the phone or UHF numbers shown on the electronic signage so they can be escorted through the work site.

This will add up to 30 minutes additional travel time.

Vehicles over 5.5 metres wide

To allow vehicles wider than 5.5 metres access through the site, a minimum of 24 hours notice before travel is required by contacting the project manager Adrian Wash, at Adrian.WALSH@transport.nsw.gov.au.
