Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the M1 Pacific Motorway southbound at Somersby and Mooney Mooney due to slope remediation work.
Work will be carried out for up to 5 weeks weather permitting, from 8.30pm to 4am, starting between Somersby and Ourimbah from Sunday 31 May and Mooney Mooney from Monday 1 June.
The slow lane and middle lane of the southbound carriageway will be closed for about 2 km during work hours with traffic using the fast lane.
Traffic control with lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Oversize and/or overmass vehicles more than 3.5m wide should call the project team on 0499 563 759 prior to travel to discuss being escorted through the work site. Significant delays may occur if failure to contact.
This work may cause a cumulative delay of up to ten minutes. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to these conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
