There will be alternating northbound and southbound temporary closures of the M7 Mwy, traffic will be detoured off the M7 Mwy during this work.
M7 Mwy between Richmond Rd Oakhurst and Woodstock Ave, Rooty Hill:

M7 Mwy between Great Western Hwy and Old Wallgrove Rd, Eastern Creek:

OSOM and Class 2 vehicles travelling under notice along the M7 Mwy will be detoured via routes outlined below:
Woodstock Ave and Richmond Rd detour via Woodstock Ave and Rooty Hill Rd North (northbound and southbound).
Great Western Hwy and Old Wallgrove Rd, Eastern Creek detour via Great Western Hwy and Old Wallgrove Rd (northbound and southbound).
Bernera Rd and M5 Mwy, Prestons will be detoured via Hoxton Park Rd and Hume Hwy (northbound).
M5 Mwy and Cowpasture Rd, Middelton Grange will be detoured via Hume Hwy and Hoxton Park Rd, Hoxton Park (southbound).
OSOM vehicles operating under the National Class 1 Load Carrying Vehicles Mass and/or Dimension Exemption Notices can use the available detours if they are suitable for their combination. Operators are reminded that under Schedule 8 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation (NSW), there is a requirement for the driver and operator to scope the proposed route prior to travel to ensure it is suitable for their vehicle.
Vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in their permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
