NSW: Hume Highway, Yass: Changed traffic conditions 12 & 13 September 2026

Changed traffic conditions will be in place in both directions on the Hume Highway at Yass this weekend to facilitate maintenance works.

Single lane closures will be in place all day on Saturday 12 September and Sunday 13 September 2026.

Heavy vehicles wider than 4.5 metres must contact traffic control on approach to the worksite to arrange access through the area. Contact details will be displayed on electronic message boards approaching the worksite.

Operators are advised to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and monitor conditions before travelling through the area.

Class 1, 2 and 3 operators are reminded:

Vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult the relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route, unless otherwise specified.
Vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed on the permit unless an updated permit has been obtained from the NHVR.
