On Saturday 14 March, the M12 Motorway will open to the public, connecting Elizabeth Drive at Cecil Hills and The Northern Road in Luddenham.
The M12 Motorway will provide direct access to Western Sydney International Airport at Badgerys Creek and in the future will connect to Sydney’s motorway network.
The 16 kilometre motorway will provide increased road capacity and reduce congestion improving the movement of freight in and through Western Sydney.
This M12 motorway is toll free and will reduce travel time between the M7 and The Northern Road by up to 16 minutes once the M7-M12 interchange opens in June 2026.

Heavy vehicle operators should always check the National Network Map prior to travel.

As you move through the new section of the motorway, please travel with care, follow directional signs, maintain the required speed limit and plan your trip before travelling.
