NSW: Windmills Rest Area temporary closure, Hume Hwy

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) advises heavy vehicle drivers and other road users are advised of an upcoming closure of the Windmills rest area on the Hume Highway at Cullerin.

Following a multiple vehicle fire earlier this year, damage was sustained to the area and repair works are required.

When

The rest area will be closed from 6am Thursday 3 December to 6pm Friday 4 December.

Closest available northbound rest areas

Mundoonan rest area - 32km south (approx. 18 minutes)
Mystery Boulders rest area - 13km north (approx. 7 minutes)
