Road Conditions Update-QLD-CQ-Injuneto Rolleston-Carnarvon Hwy, Dawson Rvr bridge temp closures 24/7~7/8/24

TMR advises there will be road works occurring on the Dawson River bridge located, between Injune and Rolleston, on the Carnarvon Highway. 

Temporary restrictions 
CLOSURES on Dawson River Bridge, will occur from 6am to 6pm, during the following dates: 

• 24 July 2024
• 26 July 2024
• 29 July 2024
• 7 August 2024 

* In addition to the above closures to all traffic, all vehicle combinations with a ground contact width and/or loaded width greater than 3.0m are not permitted to travel through the site. 

Alternate route 
Eligible vehicles can access the alternate route, via Leichhardt Highway, provided a copy of the approved variation letter (see file attached) is used in conjunction with a current permit. 
Operators without a current permit are required to apply via the NHVR Portal for the alternative route.
