Road Conditions Update-QLD-Mingo-Gayandah-Mount Perry Roads-works to commence

Works will soon commence to upgrade a 1.6km section of Gayndah–Mount Perry Road at Mingo.

The project will improve safety and rideability for both passenger and heavy vehicles travelling along this section of Gayndah–Mount Perry Road, north of Mingo Crossing. The works will widen and seal a 1.6km section of Gayndah–Mount Perry Road to a two-lane standard.
Targeted sections will also be realigned to reduce some of the curves to meet modern standards and improve safety for all motorists.

Roadworks are expected to commence in the coming weeks and are expected to take about fi ve months to complete, weather and other conditions permitting.

Works will generally be undertaken Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm. Some periodic work outside of these hours may be required. During construction nearby residents and road users
may experience the following:
• Traffic delays: Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time if travelling during work hours and are reminded to observe all warning and traffic signage when approaching the works site and be aware of changed conditions.
