SEQ: Gold Coast Hwy Asphalt Resurfacing Night works

The Department of Transport and Main Roads advises that night works will be undertaken on the Gold Coast Highway (11A) between Buckler Drive, Helensvale, and Mabel Arch Drive, Arundel.
When
Asphalt resurfacing and repair works will occur from Wednesday, 7th October through to mid December 2026 between 8pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday weather and site conditions permitting.
What to expect
During work hours a maximum ground contact width for transport through this section during roadworks is 2.5m
If vehicles exceed 2.5m ground contact width, alternative travel must be arranged:

- Via Olsen Avenue (Smith Street)
