SEQ: Nerang | Nerang Connection Road (Panitz Bridge) | Bridge Closures

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will soon undertake road maintenance works on the Nerang Connection Road (Panitz Bridge) with detours in place via the Pacific Motorway (M1) during the bridge closure periods.
The bridge will be closed on the following dates:
- Wednesday 14 May 2025 (night shift 8pm to 5am)
- Thursday 15 May 2025 (night shift 8pm to 5am)
Full weekend closures:
- From 8pm, Friday 16 May 2025, until 5am, Monday 19 May 2025
- From 8pm, Friday 23 May 2025, until 5am, Monday 26 May 2025.
During this closure period, all heavy vehicles will not be permitted through the site.
