SEQ: North Tivoli | Mount Crosby Road Overpass | Temporary Road Closure and Restriction

Source: Department of Transport and Main Roads, Heavy Vehicles Unit (21.05.2025)

From Tuesday 20 May 2025, the Mount Crosby Road overpass at the Warrego Highway, west of Dinmore, is open to one lane of travel with load and speed restrictions in the Northbound direction, following the recent bridge strike.

All southbound traffic will continue to be detoured.

Heavy Vehicle operators with a Gross Combination Mass (GCM) exceeding 30t seeking to travel north on the overpass must seek an alternative route.

Recommended Detour

Heavy vehicle operators travelling south are recommended to travel east on Warrego Highway and use the River Road exit and re-enter the Warrego Highway to the west.

Heavy vehicle operators travelling north are recommended to enter the Warrego Highway at the roundabout prior to the overpass and travel west to the Pine Mountain Road (Route 38) Exit and travel over Warrego Highway before entering the Warrego Highway to the east.

TMR apologises for any inconvenience and will continue to provide updated information as it becomes available to ensure the safety of all motorists.
