Planning for Bruce Highway upgrades between Anzac Avenue and Caboolture-Bribie Island Road - Preferred Option

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has progressed planning for future road upgrades along the Bruce Highway between Anzac Avenue, North Lakes and Caboolture-Bribie Island Road, Caboolture. This planning has been underway since 2023 and a preferred option has been identified.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises from Wednesday 30th July 2025 to Tuesday 5th August 2025 a 3 metre width restriction (including load and ground contact) will apply for all traffic on the Julia Creek Bridge between 6:30am to 5:00pm each day while bridge works are completed.
