The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will be carrying out maintenance work on sections of road at the following locations:

• Kennedy Highway (Cairns – Mareeba): Mareeba: Thursday 24 July 2025
• Mareeba – Dimbulah Road: Mareeba, Paddy’s Green, Arriga and Mutchilba: Friday 25 July – Monday 28 July 2025
• Mulligan Highway (Mareeba – Mount Molloy): Mareeba, Southedge and Biboohra: Monday 28 July – Tuesday 29 July 2025

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises traffic count surveys will be undertaken on 105 intersections of the Bruce Highway between Innisfail and south of Townsville on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July 2025 between 6am and 6pm.
