The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is about to start pavement strengthening works on the Bruce Highway north of Innisfail and near Cardwell. 
 

The new Mount Street underpass (5.4 metres in height) will be opening from 5am Friday 5 September, providing dedicated access for Cahill Expressway motorists traveling to City East, Eastern Suburbs and Sydney Airport. 

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will be carrying out the following projects on the Bruce Highway, Cowley.

Bruce Highway (Ingham – Innisfail) Aldridge Road to Poppi Road, Wide Centre Line Treatment project.
