Mount Lindesay Highway Upgrade - Closure of Chambers Flat Road southbound off-ramp
The Department of Transport and Main Roads is upgrading the Mount Lindesay Highway at Munruben.
On Friday 19 August 2022 from 3am, the Chambers Flat Road southbound off-ramp will close for approximately 72 hours to undertake tie-in works for the southbound alignment.
24-hour works will occur on the off-ramp during the closure period and include:
- Installation of traffic control devices and signage
- Delivery and removal of materials and equipment
- Vegetation clearing
- Earthwork activities, including excavation and fill works
- Asphalting and line marking activities
- Guardrail installation.
Please note – a diversion and changed traffic conditions will be in place during this work. Signage and traffic controllers will be in place to direct motorists during these times.
Please allow extra time for travel during this period. Speed restrictions, lane closures, temporary stoppages and diversions will be in place during the night works to allow for the movement of plant and equipment in addition to the safety of workers and motorists.
