FNQ-Tropical Cyclone Jasper reconstruction works, Mossman-Mount Molloy Rd

TMR advises works recommenced for Cyclone Jasper reconstruction works on Mossman - Mount Molloy Rd in early January 2026.

Works underway

  • The major upslope site about 350m down the range from Mossman – Mount Molloy Road Lookout (lower lookout) is currently being repaired.
  • Approximately half of the rock bolting works have been completed and a hydromulch layer applied to the top portion of the works to support vegetation regrowth.
  • Site preparation has begun at two more upslope sites in preparation for rockbolting works.

Traffic management

This section of Mossman – Mount Molloy Road remains under single-lane traffic control.

Pay attention around work sites, drive to the changed conditions and obey all signage for your safety and the safety of roadworkers and other road users.
