Due to the rain events in March and April 2025, the sidetrack that was constructed around the Baffle Creek bridge upgrade site, has been damaged.

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Princes Highway at Bomaderry from Sunday 11 May to Thursday 15 May.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will soon undertake road maintenance works on the Nerang Connection Road (Panitz Bridge) with detours in place via the Pacific Motorway (M1) during the bridge closure periods.
