There will be a temporary closure of Jackadgery Bridge on the Gwydir Highway from 11am Saturday 31 May to 12pm Sunday 1 June, weather permitting. 

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises commencing Monday 26 May 2025, width and mass restrictions for all vehicles requiring a permit will be in place for Horse Creek Bridge on Marlborough - Sarina Road while bridge repairs are undertaken. 

Coinciding with the end of the wet season, the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will expand the extent of reconstruction works on the Captain Cook Highway between Buchans Point, Ellis Beach and Yule Point, Mowbray.
